Last week, Alexander Lukashenko gave an interview to Russian propagandist Yevgeny Popov. According to tradition, the dictator stated how much he loves peace.

“We don’t want escalation, and we don’t want a war against the whole of NATO. We do not want that,” the dictator said. In the same interview, he said that Belarus was supplying weapons to Russia.

“What we are now supplying to Russia are thermal imagers, binoculars, optics. We trained them here, and I say to the West: yes, we are helping and will continue to help Russia.”

Lukashenko has repeatedly stated the need to stop arms supplies to Ukraine and “achieve peace.”

But the United States has repeatedly accused the Lukashenko regime of supplying weapons to countries suspected of collaborating with terrorists.

Among the recipients of Belarusian weapons were various groups, including the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, Hezbollah terrorists, as well as radical Palestinian movements.

Violations of the UN arms embargo were also recorded.

Thus, Lukashenko and his regime are directly involved in the global arms trade. Behind this pseudo-peacekeeping talk lies a bloody business that brings in millions of dollars. Belarus, under the rule of a dictator, despite its declared commitment to peace, plays an active role in supporting the most brutal regimes and terrorist organizations in the world.
