Tasha tells 8days.sg that her Emerald Hill co-star was really apologetic about it and that he told her he owes her a drink.

t’s inevitable for mishaps to happen while filming.

Recently, Chinese media zaobao.sg was on the set of the upcoming Mediacorp drama Emerald Hill in Batu Pahat where they witnessed an accident.

Tasha Low was shooting a scene that saw her hitting someone with a broom. The scene also called for Mediacorp actor Herman Keh to step forward and stop her.

During a take, when Herman yanked the broom out of Tasha’s hand, he accidentally scratched her near the right eye with his fingers.

According to the report, Tasha let out a scream and covered her eye when the director yelled “Cut!”

When 8days.sg reached out to Tasha, she told us she was a little shocked when it happened though she “didn’t feel any pain at first”.

She also emphasised that Herman was really apologetic and told her that he owes her a drink.

Did getting scratched in the face make Tasha more cautious when doing stunts?

Surprisingly, the actress said she was unfazed.

“We’re quite comfortable with each other, so it didn’t affect filming at all. We communicated on how we should do the scene better and more safely, and rehearsed a few more times before filming again,” she told 8days.sg.

She shared she’s had no issues concealing the wound and isn’t worried about it leaving a scar.

Herman, on the other hand, felt very sorry for what he did.

In an interview with zaobao.sg, Herman revealed he freaked out in the moment, and blamed himself.

“I kept apologising, and was very worried that the injury would affect filming if it was too serious,” he said.

The actor added that he was aware that accidents can happen during fight scenes and he had tried his best to be careful, but still ended up striking his co-star in the face.
